Island Peak Climb and mountain peak “3 Passes Trek” takes us to a series of beautiful turquoise lakes within the Gokyo valley, including the well known Renjo La Cho La and Kongma La Pass. Before reaching Island Peak we pass through Mt. Everest Base Camp. On our 19 day journey, we ascend to Gokyo Ri and Kala Patthar which provide a magnificent close-up view of the beautiful views of the world's highest Himalaya mountains, including Khumbu, Pumo Ri, Lingtren, Khumbutse, Lola, Mt. Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Ama Dablam, Lobuche Peak. Island peak climbers must be physically fit and trekkers should have some experience in vigorous outdoor activities. Beginners of reasonable health levels can manage this climb. Island peak is a technical and challenging climb. On the journey to Island Peak we pass through Khumbu Valley, witness world-renowned Sherpa culture and majestic views of the snow-covered Himalaya range before scaling Island Peak.
