The purpose of this taxonomy is to provide a way to indicate the quality of data at the time it was entered into the database. It also provides a way to measure how long has passed since the last update on that particular entry and set a baseline for its future updates. The main benefit of this is that this allows users to know where they stand quickly without searching through pages or files for it.
